कांटों से लिपट कर हम सो गए ,

वो फूलों पर करवट बदलते रहे,

वो सोए रहे सुकून से मखमली बिस्तर पर

और हम चिराग की तरह जलते रहे,,

अरे वो तो कब का छोड़ चुके थे मेरा साथ बीच रस्ते में,

और एक हम थे कि वो मेरे साथ है ये सोच कर बस चलते रहे,,

मैं तो हर मोड़ पर साथ था उनके, बचाता रहा उन्हें हर ठोकरों से,

और एक वो है जो मुझे ठोकर मारा कर चले गए, और हम खुद ही गिरते रहे संभलते रहे,,

फिर भी मुझे कोई गिला नहीं, कोई शिकवा नहीं,

हो जाए अगर मुकम्मल इश्क तो फिर वो इश्क ही क्या, ओर इश्क का मजा ही क्या,

यारो इश्क का मजा तो तब है जब दर्द मिलते रहे और दिल जलते रहे,                                                                  दर्द मिलते रहे और दिल जलते रहे।।
