ਰੱਖਣਾ ਨ੍ਹੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ
ਪਰ ਸੱਭ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਅਮੀਰ
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੱਜ ਤੂੰ ਬੀਜ ਲਾਉਣਾ
ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਦ ਚੱਖਕੇ ਸਵਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਾ
ਕੋਈ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਨੀ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਉਧਾਰੀ
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਨਿੱਤ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਵਰਤੀ
ਉਹਨੇ ਪੱਕੀ ਹੀ ਡਾਇਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਖਾਤੇ ਦੀ ਲਾਤੀ
ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਇਹੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਕੌੜਾ ਸੱਚ
ਆਖਿਰ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਲੱਗਣੇ ਚਾਰ ਹੱਥ
ਇੱਥੇ ਚੜਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਮੱਚਣਾ ਰਿਵਾਜ਼ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ
ਹੋਰ ਨੀ ਤਾਂ ਮਹਿਫ਼ਲ ਤੋਂ ਕਤਲ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ
ਬੜੀ ਅਜੀਬ ਹੈ ਦੁਨੀਆ
ਕੋਈ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਏ ਰੋਂਦਾ
ਨੀ ਹਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਏ
ਕਾਸਤੋ ਮੈਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਰੱਖਣੀ
ਮੇਰਾ ਰੱਬ ਅਦੀਬ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਖੂ ਰਹਿਲਾਗੇ
ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰਮਰੂਫ਼ ਬਣਕੇ ਕਿ ਲੈਣਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ
