ਸਾਡੀ ਸੱਜਣ ,
ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲ
ਕੇ ਵੀ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਏ ,
ਆਉਂਦੇ ਖਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ।
ਪਰ ਕੌਣ ਸਮਝਾਵੇ
ਹਰਸ ਤੈਨੂੰ ।
ਤੂੰ ਫੁਰਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠ ,
ਕਦੇ ਹਵਾ ਪਾਣੀ
ਧੁੱਪ ਛਾਂ
ਚਿੜੀਆ ਤੇ ਰੁੱਖਾ
ਮਿਨੀ ਮਿਨੀ ਤਰੇਲ
ਤੇ ਬਦਲ ਦੀਆ ਰੁੱਤਾ ਨਾਲ
ਗੱਲਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਦੀ ।
ਕਦੇ ਚੜਦੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ
ਲਾਲੀ ਨਹੀ ਨਿਹਾਰੀ
ਨਾ ਚੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ
ਕੋਈ ਗੱਲ ਪਿਆਰੀ
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇਆ ਨੂੰ
ਹਰਸ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀ ਆਉਂਦਾ
ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਦਰਤ
ਕੀ ਕਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ।
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲ ਵੀ
ਦੱਸ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਏ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ
