ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਨੇ ਦਾ ਉਂਝ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਸ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਨਹੀਂ,
ਪਰ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ
ਕਲਮ ਆਪੇ ਚਲ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਆ।
ਮੈ ਰੁਲਿ ਹਾਂ
ਹਾੜ ਦੀ ਗਰਮੀ ਚ ਬਹੁਤ,
ਕੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ
ਜੋ ਛਾਂ ਬਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਛਾਵੇਂ ਚ ਆ ਵੜ ਬਹਿੰਦਾ ਆ..
ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੂਕਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਦੀਆਂ,
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੀੜ ਚ ਵੀ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦੀਆਂ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਸੌਣ ਲੱਗੀ
ਉਹਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਚੰਦਰੀ ਕਲੇਜੇ ਚ ਵੜ ਬਹਿੰਦੀ ਆ।
ਪਰ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ
ਕਲਮ ਆਪੇ ਚਲ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਆ।
