chahe akhan gaal le
jo chadd gai mudh ni auna
marzi jinne vehm paal le
oh Gairaan diyaan buklaan daa nigh maan di
Chahe jinne hadd baal le
aakhiri gal mukdi

par kujh lok dukh hi eaina dinde ne ke jeon da dil nahi karda
ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਏਨੀਂ ਦੁਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਕਿ ਮਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਅ ਕਰੇ
