jis cheez ko chaah hai vo hee begaani hai,
hansate bhee hai to duniya ko hansaane ke lie,
varana duniya doob jaaye in aakhon mein itana paani hai..

अपनी तो ज़िन्दगी है अजीब कहानी है,
जिस चीज़ को चाह है वो ही बेगानी है,
हँसते भी है तो दुनिया को हँसाने के लिए,
वरना दुनिया डूब जाये इन आखों में इतना पानी है..
