ਮੈਂ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਥੋੜਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਗਿਆ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ,
ਮਿਲੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਭੀੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਲ ਸੀ,
ਉਹਦੀ ਇੱਕਲੈ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਅੱਗੇ ਗਿਆ ਉਹਦਾ ਚੁੰਨੀ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਦੇਖਿਆ,
ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਗੈਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਚ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ ਉਹਦਾ,
ਦੇਖ ਗਿਰ ਗਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਮੈਂ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਸਲਾਮ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ,
ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਦੇਖਿਆਂ ਨੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਉਹ ਚੂੜਾ ਲੈਣ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਸ਼ਗਨਾਂ ਲਈ,
ਮੈ ਸੱਬ ਵੇਚ ਆਇਆ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ,
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਣ ਲੀ ਭਿਖਾਰੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇਂ,
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਖਿਲਦੇ ਸੀ,
ਅੱਜ ਕੰਡੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਆ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਉਹ ਜਾਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਦੁਆ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਨੇ,
