उन्ही दुआओं का असर हूं,
चिराग़ सी हैं नज़रें मेरी
जैसे सुबह की पहली पहर हूं
धूल से ही तो नाता है मेरा
वहीं ठंडी हवाओं में बसर हूं
कलम से शायर कह दो
होंठों से कहर हूं,
ठहरा है दरिया जो किनारे में
वहीं बहता छोटा सा शहर हूं,
मानों तो प्यास मिले
ना मानों तो ज़हर हूं...
