कितने गुज़र गए ज़माने यूँ ज़ख्म खाने में,
बडा वक़्त लगाते हो यार मरहम लगाने में.
दासबर्दार तेरे इश्क़ में आशनाई गवा बैठे,
बावर्णा दिल-खवा अपने भी थे ज़माने में.
जो क़ल्ब परोसता है ग़ज़लों में बेदिली से मुसाहिब,
मुझे भी तोह सुना कोनसा ग़म है तेरे अफ़साने में.
मेरा ग़म कौन जाने मैं पौधा ही जानू हिज्र-ए-गुल,
बीस दिन लगते है अशर कली को फूल बनाने में…
