ਅੱਸੀ ਤਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਦਿਲਾ ।
ਪਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਤਰਬੀਅਤ ਹੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ ।।

ਤੂੰ ਆਵਦੇ ਦਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਰ ਕਿਦਾਂ ਜਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ।।
