ਸੱਟ ਦਿਲ ਤੇ ਡੂੰਗੀ ਵਜੀ
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਇਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਕਲਮ ਚਕਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ
ਪਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਨੇ ਕਲਮ ਚਕਣ ਤੇ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੜਵੇ ਬੋਲ ਹੰਜੂ ਬਣ ਵਹਿੰਦੇ ਗਏ
