कहीं सपना अधूरा न रह जाए , किनारों का
बड़ी मुश्किल है ये ज़िन्दगी
लोग जाने यहाँ कैसे जीतें हैं
हमने तो जबभी सुकून ढ़ूंढ़ा
कशमकश के फ़साने मिलतें हैं
जरासी खुशी देकर , ज़िन्दगी लूट लेती है
अपने आकर्षण में फ़साके , गम खूब देती है
न रह पातें हैं , न निकल पातें हैं इससे
जाने कितनें जनमों का , ये हिसाब लेती है
कोई कुछ भी कहे , सभी इसी के मारें हैं
मरतें हैं कई बार , जीतें सांसों के सहारे हैं
इक दिन चुपके से चलेजातें हैं
क्या पाया क्या खोया , शुन्य में ये भी न जान पातें हैं
