ਦਰਦ ਚੌਖਟ ਖੜੇ ਦਰ ਮੇਰੇ, ਸਾਡੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਗੁੰਮਨਾਮ ਪਰਿੰਦਾ
ਇਸ਼ਕ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਨੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਆ

ਬਹੁਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਨਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਸੀਂ
ਬਥੇਰੇ ਖੋਟ ਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ, ਮੱਤਲਬ ਕੱਢਕੇ ਵਰਤ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਲੋਕੀ
ਇਸ਼ਕ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਨੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ

ਗਲਤੀ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ, ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰੇ ਕੋਈ
ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ, ਖੱਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾਵੇਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ
ਇਸ਼ਕ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਨੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ

ਖੱਤਰੀ ਪਿਆ ਹੁਣ ਸੋਚੇ, ਕਿ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੱਥ ਦੀ ਲਕੀਰ
ਵੱਕਤ ਹੀ ਆ ਸੱਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ, ਪੈਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਫ਼ਕੀਰ
