जाने क्या हो गया है कैसी इम्तिहान की घड़ी है,
एक आशिक पे ये कैसी सजा आन पड़ी है!
आस भी क्या लगाएं अबकी होली पे हम उनसे,
दुनिया की ये खोखली रस्में तलवार लिए खड़ी है!
मैंने देखें हैं गेसुओं के हंसते रुखसार पे लाली
मगर हमारे चेहरे पे फिर आंसुओं की लड़ी है!
