Akhan da kaurha Pani peen dyo
Menu dukha de naal jeeon dyo
Je mreya taa ehsaan kareyo
Menu saadh deyo usdi jooh vich

ਨਾ ਦੇਵੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ
ਮੈ ਡੁੱਬਣਾ ਗਮ ਦੇ ਖੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ
ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਾਲ
ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ
ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੌੜਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਣ ਦੋ
